2011 K*bot Division 1 World Championships

July 25  - 29, 2011    (Ages 7-15)     Las Vegas, Nevada

Morning Session  Building and Qualifying  9:00 AM - 12:00 Noon  Monday - Thursday  

Division 1 World Finals to be held on Friday at  12:00 Noon  - 2:30 PM 

Welcome to Las Vegas, Nevada, home of hospitality and the  2011 K*bot World Championships at the Veterans Memorial Leisure Services Center. Division 1 is the two wheel drive and three pounds and under division with a lot of fast-paced action.   We will assist each student at the world finals on how to construct and operate their own Division 1 K*bot (built from our over 100,000 K'NEX pieces at the competition) to be used during competition. Each student has their own pit area and assorted parts to build their own K*bot and get it ready for competition each day.  Competition will start on Monday with competition seeding each day to get ready for the world finals at 12:00 Noon on Friday.  Competition each day with other students from around the country and world will motivate students to use every legal K'NEX part to have their K*bots fine-tuned for the world championship on Friday.  Discover other super K*bot kids from around the country and some from around the world who have the same passion for K*bot competition as you do.   12 hours of competition which will have you more than ready to take on the world on Friday. 2011 K*bot Division 3 World Championships

July 25 - 29, 2011 (Ages 8 -16)  (Remote Control) Las Vegas, Nevada

Afternoon Session  1:00 - 4:00 PM    Monday - Thursday

Division 3 World Championships to be held on Friday at  2:30 PM  - 4:30 PM

"New Three Motor Remote Control Division"

Welcome to Las Vegas, Nevada,  home of hospitality and the 2011 K*bot World Championships at the Veterans Memorial Leisure Services Center.  The new Division 3 will have Three Motors which will be remote controlled. All K*bots will be 3.0 lb. and under with a lot of  power and action.   It may look like a powerful  Division 1 or 2, however, with remote control and two motors and some the rules used currently in all Divisions it could be the most exciting K*bot division . The Division 3 competition table will be the same size as the Division M competition table.  We will assist each student at the world finals on how to construct and operate their own Division 3 K'NEX K*bot (built from our over 100,000 K'NEX pieces at the competition) to be used during competition. 2011 K*bot Division M World Championships

July 25 - 29, 2011  Manual Division K*bots). 

(Ages 8 -16)  (Manual Non-mechanized Control) Las Vegas, Nevada Afternoon Session  1:00 - 4:00 PM     

Monday - Thursday    Division M World Championships to be held on Thursday July 28, 2011 at  4:00 PM  - 6:00 PM

The aim of this hand operated division is to score ‘points’ in different categories - Power, Flipping and Damage.   Each student has their own pit area and assorted parts to build their own K*bot and get it ready for competition each day.  Competition will start on Monday with competition seeding each day to get ready for the world finals at 4:00 PM on Thursday..  Competition each day with other students from around the country and world will motivate students to use every legal K'NEX part to have their Ultra remote control K*bots fine-tuned for the world championship on Friday.  Discover other super K*bot kids from around the country and world who have the same passion for K*bot competition as you do.   12 hours of competition which will have you more that ready to take on the world on Thursday.  $89.00 Total  Fee.  Also included  is a K*bot Rulesbook Guide.  Call the City of Las Vegas Leisure Center Front Desk at 702-229-1100 concerning registration for the 2011 K*bot World Championships. Division M World Championships to be held on Thursday at 4:00 PM  - 6:00 PM
