K*bot (Robotics) Camp for K'NEX students
June 4-8, 2007

2007 Corpus Christi K*bot Master Camp
will be held at St. Philip The Apostle
Catholic Church Youth Center located on
3513 Cimarron Road
from 10 AM until 3 PM
in Corpus Christi, Texas. This Regional K*bot Camp will have three time K*bot World Champion
Edy Valdes as the K*bot instructor. The fee is only
$75
for the full day for four days of building excitement and world
championship preparations for the 2007 K*bot World Championships in Las Vegas,
Nevada on July 16-20, 2007. This master class will have a regional K*bot
competition on the last day to represent Corpus Christi, Texas at the 2007 K*bot
Word Championships.
This camp will cover:
Understanding of K*bot gear reduction
Frame designs and center of gravity for K*bots
Different models types of K*bots
prototype designs
What makes a K*bot Champion?
Small project build off units and other aspects to having fun while succeeding
with K*bots
