Welcome to K*bots in Asia
K*bots were a big hit at the 2007 Hong Kong K*bot Competition. Computer
controlled Division 3 units went into action against each other as China got its
first taste of real K*bots as they competed at the 2007 Hong Kong K*bot
Competition. This competition was held at the Shaw Sports Complex, Hong Kong
Polytechnic University and involved teams of students who learned design and
engineering skills using competitive K*bot robotic units. Nira Krumholtz, Head
of the IDEA Center and Eye On Education Association, and Phantom II Ltd.
operated by Moshe Lahav from Israel were responsible for organizing this
competition sponsored by Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the
Department of Electrical Engineering.
